Question: 15 years ago I fell off a roof and tore all the tendons and ligaments in my ankle. I have had no problems until last week when I was on my feet all day and my ankle started hurting and was swollen it was hard to walk and has lasted all week.

This is typical of inflamed tendons. I will suggest that you limit how much distance you walk daily, apply ice packs and use Ibuprofen: 800mg thrice daily. If symptoms do not regress significantly within 72hours, I recommend that you see a doctor for evaluation and investigations.
