What Causes Pain And Blue Purplish Spots On Right Hand Tricep Area?

Posted on Wed, 29 Jun 2016
Question: I see a blue, purplish spot on my right hand tricep area. I can see some small reddish dot on that. This does not have pain or itching. I started swimming recently 2 weeks back. There is also pain in the same hand from last 3-4 days and this spot appears 1 days back. Today while swimming, I feel intense pain in my right eye and I stopped swimming and come back. Then I feel nausea and vomit. The pain in the eye reduced but keep tingling. Here I like to add that 2 day back, i forced to drink good amount of swimming pool water as I try swimming in deep water. Can you please help me as what is this happening and which doctor (specialist) should I consult.

Brief Answer:
Seems to be due to allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

The water in swimming pools is usually heavily chlorinated and it is highly possible to get allergic reactions to the same. The mentioned problems are possibly due to the same. A clinical examination is essential. As of now I would insist you to upload an image of the blue purple lesions and I would try to help.

Seeing a GP should suffice but if you want to visit a specialist you should see a dermatologist.
