What Causes Numbness And Pain In Foot After Injury To Heel?
Question: I cut my heel and did not clean the area immediately, I have now experienced numbness and pain in my foot, like a burning of the skin, and up my leg on the side where I experienced the cut for the past 4 days. I have since cleaned the area, though I am still experiencing the symptoms. I am not sure if I should go to urgent care

So, you should take some Antibiotic and anti inflammatory tablets.
Numbness is due to some minor nerve injury.
Usually, I prescribe tablet containing Methyl cobalamine to my patients with similar complaints.
You should consult your doctor and get the wound dressed.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.
Keep your affected limb elevated.
