Brief Answer:
Information

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Moles and brown spots on the skin are not listed as a common side effect of Trulicity. However, it is relatively new on the market, and it's possible that not all side effects are identified yet. I see in the drug description that a rare side effect is skin discoloration but that might be something different than what you are describing.

If the timing of the eruption of these moles and spots correlates with her starting the medication, then I would be suspicious that the Trulicity might be the cause. Is it possible for her to consider an alternative medication to see if this dermatological problem stops?

I would not recommend an antibiotic cream for this as it is not an infection. She should see a dermatologist and note to him or her the time sequence with starting Trulicity.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide clarification.
