Brief Answer:
The bleeding is not normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The mild spotting on the pad at 6 months pregnancy is not a normal finding. This can be due to a low lying placenta or mild subchorionic hemorrhage. You need to avoid all heavy activities, avoid any sex and take complete bed rest till the bleeding stops completely.
In case the bleeding is bright red and is gradually increasing then you need to consult your gynecologist to detect the possible cause of bleeding and specific treatment.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
