Brief Answer:
it is possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

Mastoid bone asymmetry is rare while the air inside the mastoid can be asymmetric which in theory can cause remodelling of the bone making it larger. The causes are prior infection and trauma with some congenital cases as well being reported.
You should also consider that the two halfs of a person (right and left) are never identical. There is always some asymmetry but it is hardly noticable.

As I said, it is not common that the mastoids have different dimmension but it is possible.

Hope this helps. Please feel free for further questions.
