Question: I am 36 and I am experiencing back ackes and I have a bad back anyways and I am 5'5 and 198 pounds I'm over weight but trying to lose weight .... I'm a smoker I also take adderal 20mg 2x a day ..... And that makes me smoke more about a pack a day ... But going to try my vape cigg tomorrow to stop ... So I have been doing a little more around the house then I have in a while and bending and picking up and cleaning ... But I noticed a lump on my back close to the spine in the middle of my back and then noticed another one on my upper middle back kind of about two inches from the spine ... And I have been getting this weired weekends like on my left side almost as it's going to cramp up ... Then I have my husband rub my back and it feels a little better and almost makes me feel like it's easier to breath once it's rubbed really hard .... So I'm really concerned on what it could be .... Is it like a tumor or a mass or something like that .... I'm so scared

Brief Answer: I want to see MRI Detailed Answer: Hello madam, I have read your case. At the outset, it does not seems a serious issue and I think it is swelling of fat. But I would order for MRI to confirm the cause of weakness and lump. If these swellings are not causing any pain then there is no need to remove them. Alternatively you can get FNAC of the lumps done at your surgeons office. This is simple needle test and it will give us fair idea about nature of the swelling. Overall, I will not be worried about cancers. This lump is mostly due to benign reasons. Let me know if you want to ask any other question. Thanks and take care.
