Brief Answer:
For now, I will go with sinus congestion!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. They could be caused by either of the two conditions. Because we are certain of a sinus congestion, I would want to take this as the most likely cause at this time. It is only if the symptoms fail to resolve after treating the sinus condition that i would want to explore further. For now, I would like to keep it simple and straight. Avoid risky positions/gestures that can lead to fall in the event of dizziness and dangerous milieu like heights, slopes, etc that can be responsible for serious consequences during a fall.

In all, more likely to be related to the sinus congestion than a problem with the ear. Let us wait until the congestion is cleared and symptoms persist before considering other possible causes including the eustachian tube calcifications.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications as need be.
