What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding During Ovulation?
Question: I have been experiencing some weird symptoms. I have had a lighter than normal period that has been coming every 2 weeks which is weird. I have been cramping, had headache, tingly boobs, everyone and then get weak feeling. A few days ago I also had a dream I took a hpt and it showed I was pregnant. Could these be signs that I am pregnant?

Sometimes some females do have light spotting during the period of ovulation which may last for a day or 2.
Also sometimes it could be due to implantation bleed which is also similar spotting and light bleeding.
I would like to know few things first.
1. Since when you are having these symtpoms?
2. How many times have you had periods every 2 weeks?
3. Did you had any sexual intercourse during the period of approximate date of your ovulation?
Kindly answer the above questions so i can give you proper guidance.

I have been experiencing these symptoms for about a week and a half. I have had 3 periods where they have been about 2 weeks apart and light. I have been having sexual intercourse pretty often so more than likely around my ovulation time. I was on b/c pills, but quit taking them about 3 months ago.

I asked you theese above questions to understand the possibility of pregnancy. As it has been only 3 times that you are having slight periods then it could be possible that you might be pregnant.
And the last slight bleed you had might have been a implantation bleed.
Get a urine pregnancy test kit from any pharmacy available and get your urine tested.
If it comes out negative then there might be possibility of some hormonal imbalance which is causing these symptoms.
You need to consult your gynaecologist for the further management.
