What Causes Hearing Of Heart Beat In Ears?
Question: Yes my friend is saying she hears her heartbeat in her ears can you tell me what might cause this?

Thanks for the query. I get this question a lot in my practice and for the most part, it is just a normal variant, particularly when you lay on your side with the ear pressed against a pillow: the vibration of the pulse can get mechanically transmitted to the middle ear and thus "hear the heart". However,it is prudent to make sure that blood pressure is not high.
