Thanks for your query.

From your description it seems to be exostosis (extra bone growth on a bony surface). It is benign (non-cancerous) bone tumour.
They can be caused due to a long-term irritation as a result of infections, or trauma.
I would suggest getting this evaluated by your for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. You may get the X-ray of the area affected.
