Question: I was diagnosed with a lower intestinal bacterial infection. I had it for 14 days like they said I would and then on day 18 the stool turned green. Is that the rest of the bacteria getting out or something to be concerned about?

Brief Answer:
stool examination will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, I would like to advise that you should get your stool examined for culture and sensitivity test and start antibiotic according to the reports.
If the intestinal motility is increased, it can result in green stools.
I hope this is helpful to you.
If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards. Thanks.
