default
Posted on Tue, 27 Oct 2015
Question: I am a 37 year old male, moderate smoker. Lately, I've been urinating much more during the evening, sometimes without even drinking much water. In addition, it sometimes feels like I have to go again right after I finish.

Brief Answer:
UTI most likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, your symptoms seem to suggest, you should check for UTI.
UTI is urinary infection. Get urine routine and culture tested.
Also check blood sugar and creatinin, and do an ultrasound scan of the abdomen.
Show all reports to your doctor, at the time of examination, and he can treat you.
Maintain 8-10 glasses fluids daily.

Thanks for the reply. The symptoms have been coming and going for the past couple of months, and there is never any pain associated with urination. Is that still consistent with a UTI, or it is possibly something like diabetes?
