Brief Answer:
Could be due to the redistribution of blood flow

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. The feeling of weakness after passing urine could be due to a phenomenon known as micturition syncope. It occurs because in order to pass urine the blood flow to the bladder and associated muscles increases while the blood flow to the brain and other parts of the body are partially compromised. You need to drink plenty of water and fluids.

I would insist you to elaborate about your so called erectile dysfunction and why you think so. Based on your inputs I will guide you accordingly.

Let me know if I could help further.

Greetings, am I permitted to ask a question about something I experienced 42 years ago, whilst at school, where an ambulance took me to hospital but I recovered a a couple of hours? I collapsed in the toilet. Was sweating profusely and my sight was tinged totally red, like wearing red sunglasses. I managed to walk, shaking and clothes so wet through with sweat, to the School office, where I collapsed and shaking so much, that they thought I was having epileptic fit. Parents were called from work but I recovered under observation,no explanation offered. Any ideas ??

For a 25 yo male with history of post micturation syncope -- fainted in the theatre bathroom shortly during or after urinating on a full bladder (tried to hold in his urine while watching a movie). What further evaluation will he need? There is no history of other syncopal episodes except in college once due to sleep deprivation involving fraternity hazing. He is otherwise healthy except new onset of feeling intermittent episodes of light headedness and palpitations. He was seen in the emergency room with a normal ekg, normal labs, and an incidental finding of a corpus callosum lipoma which was felt to be a developmental anomalie.
