What Causes Excessive Sweating From The Armpits Despite Any Exerting Activity?

Question: I'm just sitting here doing nothing active and all of a sudden a single drop of sweat so large it runs down my torso comes from one of my armpits. its happening one big drop at a time from each armpit. why?

This is a condition called Axillary Hyperhidrosis, a condition resulting from increased secretion from the sweat glands in the axilla.

This can occur in several conditions like thyroid gland hyperactivity, carcinoid, abnormal blood sugar etc. But often it is due to anxiety.

If you are not an anxious person, it may be good to see a doctor, have yourself examined and investigated.
