Hello

Thanks for the query

Ringing with loss of hearing in the ear could be serious. Please get back to me with the following details so that I get to know what you might be suffering from

1. Did you have cough or cold in the recent past?
2. Does the loss hearing also change during the day, as in do you feel you can hear well for a while and then again there seems to be a block in the ear?
3. DO you have giddiness as well?
4. Do you have headache?
5. Any discharge from the ear associated with pain?

Please get back to me, I am awaiting your reply

Brief Answer:
Conductive hearing loss

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back, I am sorry for the short delay in my response, I was on call at my hospital.

From the description you have given me it looks like you have a conductive hearing loss, most likely to be due to impacted wax.
Please meet an ENT specialist for an examination. Soliwax ear drops 2 drops into the ear every 6 hours will help liquefy the wax and reduce the block. The ringing also should come down once the impacted wax is taken care of

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
