default
Posted on Wed, 9 Jul 2014
Question: I am 22, I drink socially maybe 5-6 times a month if that. About 2 months ago I over drank and blacked out. A couple days later I felt like my head was foggy, lack of concentration, sleepy, etc. I feel if I drink it only makes the brain fog worse since that day Is there any type of prescription to help, supplements, or is time the answer? Thanks,XXXX

Brief Answer:
Not to drink alcohol...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

You are only 22 years old and drink socially (up to 6 times a month). It is normal to get your head foggy, lack of concentration and feeling sleepy after over-drinking and blacked out.

That is a sign that your body is giving to you indicating that you cannot tolerate alcohol (especially if over-drunk).

The only advise given is to stop drinking alcohol and provide healthy nutrients to your body.

I also advise to run further lab tests including:
- complete blood work
- measuring blood sugar levels
- pancreas/liver/kidney function tests

in order to evaluate your health condition. If everything is ok, then, should not be drinking alcohol.
