Brief Answer:
Bluish discoloration often suggest venous blood!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Bluish discoloration that disappears quickly is caused by increased venous blood in veins. If you shower with warm water, this can increase blood flow and make the veins more distended. As they contain deoxygenated blood and is close to the skin surface, you can observe this. This represents no disease condition and there is no reason to get worried about. I will suggest you monitor only for now and seek further care only if new symptoms such as swelling or pain set in.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
