Question: Hello my name is XXXX my question is regarding my daughter's dad
Its been like a moth that he's been saying that he hears voices and they tell him to do things and we have a daughter shes 12 and since he said that im not allowing my daughter to go to his house
He just call me and said he has esquizofrenia is it ok for him to be alone with my daughter?

People who suffer from schizophrenia in general may be more harm for themselves then others. He needs to get medical help and needs all the support he may get from his family at this time.

It is true that you should not let your daughter alone with him, but make it possible that he sees her anyway and spends some time with her (especially if he is allowed by courts to see her).

Once he gets treatment and passes through the stage of hearing and seeing those voices, it will be safer to leave them alone.
