Brief answer....it is normal and hence nothing to worry Detailed answer... Hello, Thanks for the query. It is a normal phenomenon which occurs after a bout of viral infection. It may take 2-3 weeks to get all right with this.Your taste and appetite would be returned to normal by nature but in mean time eat a well balanced nutritious food having good proteins like chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, nuts etc. These are easily digestible and proteins are must for repair of damaged cells and tissues. Take yoghurt, eat fruits, fruit juices, coconut water and plain water in plenty. Finally eat some thing fancy which you relish. It would help in bringing back your taste buds and appetite. I hope it helps, however ypu may revert to me for any further query. Best of luck Thanks
