Question: Hi Doctor,

I sense a small boil or lump of peanut size on my anus. i'm doubting it could be related to piles at a very initial stage. it is not hard, no bleeding or pain at this point. it has been a week since it appeared and still it is of the same size. however, i feel frequent bowl moment. could you please let me know how can i diagnose and is there a over the counter medicine that i can take if it is confirmed.
i'm currently in US (Houston). Appreciate your help and guidance in this regard.

I have gone through the query,

According to my opinion it seems to be a skin tag, Need not bother much about it. It will not trouble you any sort. Felling of frequent could be related to a different issue. Have any pro biotic drink. Or mix Econorm sachets 1 in a glass of water 2 times for 3 days.


Anal skin tag is seen very commonly in many people. just ignore it. If you see any bleeding or pain then i suggest you get it physically examined by the surgeon.
