Brief Answer:
Lump on right side of tongue

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on your history and description, the lump/ swelling needs to be examined. Inflamed papillae , canker sores, bite irritation can cause such irritation. These are benign causes and are treated empirically based on clinical impression/evidence. If there is no improvement and the lump persists then a biopsy can be advised to obtain a histopathological/ tissue diagnosis.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
