What Causes A Itchy And Painful Bump Between Two Toes?

default
Posted on Thu, 11 Aug 2016
Question: I have had a bump or two come up between my toes 1-2 x a year. It'll itch and then go away. I've learned though that if I pop them they spread. Well now I have them on the inside of my foot in-between my big toe and my arch. This is the first time they appeared anywhere differently. They itched so bad I ended up popping them and of course they spread (when popped the itching subsides immediately!). I've used tea tree oil direct without the dilution of a carrier oil and it helps dry up the ones that have been popped but it is all still spreading. I have no clue what this is? Is this some kind of nasty fungus??

Thanks for any information..

Brief Answer:
Kindly upload the pictures, use topical antihistamine ointment

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Welcome.
Kindly upload the pictures, I'll go through them and let you know what it might be.
Do not try to pop them, if you do so, there is risk of infection.
Presently wash it with cool water and with antiseptic soap. You can apply topical antihistamine ointment, it will help in reducing the itching.
Hope this helps, get back to HCM, with the pictures.
Take care
