Question: My 3 yr old has a foul, really foul smell coming from her nose.
She has had 5 lots of anti biotics and it is still there.
Other people can smell this wen we go to shops etc, the smell is so strong.
It gets all over our clothes and through the car. It is so strong.
It sort of smells like old ear or something

Brief Answer:
Let him get the nostrils examined. Am afraid he has a foreign body in there

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this foul smell from the nose of your child. This is very suggestive of a possible foreign body or something in there which is favoring this recurrent infections. The doctors, preferably an ENT, should focus on identifying this favoring factor and address it. Have you had this child seen by an ENT specialist before? If not, I strongly suggest so. You really have to ask the doctor straight questions so that he can tell you precisely what he thinks about it and the possibility of a foreign body or malformation in the nostrils.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
