Question: i have hearing loss & have hearing aides they say there is nothing wrong with them , have had them adjusted 5/6 time from mid XXXXXXX & am going for mri on my head to see what might be wrong , want to know what they might be looking for

MRI in this context is mainly to look at the path that sounds travels from the ear to the brain.

Any affection along this line such as growth, calcifications, compression from neighbouring structures, infarcts from the poor blood supply, etc. can explain this.
