Brief Answer:
Otitis externa is likely

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

With ear pain and discharge, if this has been happening for less than a week or two, would most likely be otitis externa, or an infection or inflammation of the ear canal. This also often has itching inside the ear, along with hearing loss. However, this could also be an ear infection in which the ear drum has popped, which can also have discharge coming from the ear.

So the best course of action would be to have someone look inside the ear to determine what exactly the cause is, and if it is coming from the ear canal, ear drops including steroid and antibiotic drops would often be used, and if there is an ear infection with a perforated ear drum, antibiotic pills would often be prescribed.

I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions about that. I would be glad to discuss it with you further.

Regards
