What Are The Risks Of Taking Vyvanse, Seroquel And Valium Together?

default
Posted on Wed, 22 Aug 2018
Question: I accidentally took my Vyvanse 70mg at 9pm. Is it still safe to take the Seroquel 50mg and Valium 5mg that I normally take at bedtime? I need to get some sleep and am causing myself to have anxiety due to worrying about having to be at work at 8am and not getting any sleep!

Brief Answer:
Yes, there should be no issue with taking these meds at bedtime

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, there should be no issue with taking both Seroquel and Valium at bedtime. My only advise would be to take more caution in the future with medications, to avoid accidents and their consequences.

I would also recommend working on some relaxation exercises and mild exercises before bedtime to tire you enough to get some sound sleep. Also take precautionary measures like: sleeping in a room with optimum temperature, avoid drinking liquids at least 2 hours prior to bedtime, avoid using your phone before bedtime, make sure you are done with the last meal of the day at least 2 hours before bedtime, sleep in a sound proof room, keep your XXXXXXX phone and all other electronic devices on silent mode, etc.

I hope you find my response helpful.

Best wishes.

Take care.
