Most of the antidepressants are safe when taken in prescribed dose but few of them (older ones) have serious side effects if there is increased in dose beyond certain limits.

Having said this no antidepressant have long term lethal effects. All known antidepressants can be toxic in acute dose but there are no know known lethal complications in remote time.
