Very Painful Spot Above My Right Eye And In The

default
Posted on Wed, 29 May 2019
Question: Very painful spot above my right eye and in the hairline, but with no bruising...very painful to the touch. Vision in my right eye seems to be changing, blurring. I was hit on the top of my head on the same side, but towards the rear. Substantial wound and bleeding. My balance had been compromised before this, and I’ve had unusual forgetfulness and speech difficulties. BTW I’m in excellent physical shape.

Brief Answer:
You should get investigated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Painful spot above the Right eye could be a Haematoma i.e Collection of blood. It will resolve spontaneously in course of time.
The other symptoms that you have mentioned are non specific.CT scan of the Brain will give a clue about any injury inside.
Please consult an Ophthalmologist for vision Tests and Neurosurgeon for any Brain injury.
Nothing to worry.
