Question: Throat pain near by right tonsil as if something is stuck unable to swallow... used erythromycin tablets for 5 days 1 on each day... but unable to swallow as if its dry in that right tonsil area

Hii. Welcome to the healthcare services. It seems that you are having allergic pharyngitis that is allergic inflammation of the throat. It can be due to excess acid reflux or due to any allergic pharyngitis. Start with warm saline alternate with betadine gargle. Take Pantoprazole 20 mg twice daily before food for 1 month. Avoid spicy food, excess tea, coffee. Drink more water.Sleep after 2 hours of dinner. If there is any increase of pain throat or soreness of throat then start with tablet Augmentin 1 gm twice daily for 1 week. Take steam inhalation. Please review if you have any queries.

Sure Thank you for your response..but my mom she claims to be having that burnt sensation of tongue all the time versince since this started that too only on the right half of it..is it related to the issue u mentioned above or anything else..
