Brief Answer:
Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your concern and I have understood it. Though, it would have been great if you would have uploaded a picture showing the area of concern.

You have what is called, Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

I would suggest that you use a kojic acid based cream, twice daily over the spots (kojic acid is a skin lightening agent and is available in 2% strength as cream/gel formulation).

I would also suggest you to use a broad spectrum sunscreen, throughout the day, to prevent sun induced darkening. A sunscreen with minimum SPF 30 would be good.

An oral Vitamin C supplement once daily can also be taken.

Hope this helps
