Question: i HAVE PART OF THE HEAD OF A WOODTICK LEFT UNDER MY SKIN AND IT IS A BIT SWOLLEN. ITS ON MY FRONT NECK. wHAT DO i DO?

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Please try to remove it with needle (scratch it). It should not be a big part. If you wont be able to do that, consult your doctor and ask him to do that (this is not an urgent, you can do it next day).
If you will remove it, please wash it with some antiseptic agent (or alcohol if this is all you have). Water with soap should also be fine.
If you get rid of this part, you should have this area under observation for next 3 weeks. Check if there is no erythrema migrans which can indicate Lyme disease.
