Brief Answer:
Yes it is a right age

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thank you for using Healthcaremagic for your health related query.

Syndactyli is a not a very rare condition and is treatable.

1. Yes it is a right age it could be done earlier too if the growth of the longer finger is getting affected. The plastic surgeon you see will be able to tell you better after examining her

2. It is complex in the fact that it needs both proper planning and execution too. Please find a plastic surgeon in your city who deals with birth defects. The blood vessels of the fingers need to be preserved and she might need a skin graft as well.

3. Please contact a plastic surgeon in one of the major hospitals in your city and talk to them and get it done. Most cities have well trained plastic surgeons to help you with that. The charges will also vary depending on the city, the hospital, the surgeons experience etc.

Please go ahead and get it operated if not the growth of the other finger and her hand functions might be hampered.

All the best and wishing for her fast recovery
