Question: I had a swelling on my forehead which appears any time and disappears any time, sometimes it come to central part and sometimes it comes to either side.... Its happening for the last 3 years... Its not painful... But it disturbs me a lot... Some times it comes once a week and sometimes it disappears for over a month... I searched a lot on the net but doesn't found some concrete reasons...
Even I don't know to whom I should contact(whether a skin specialist or some one else) I don't have any skin related problem or any allergy...

Brief Answer:
As explained below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history well and understood the concerns.
Recurrent swelling on forehead, as described by you so well is called angioneurotic edema or Urticaria.
It may be due to hair dyeing, use of some scents or local applications, or reaction to some internal or external factors, goods, preservatives, beverages and is a response of the skin to the allergens when the dose can not be handled by the body.
Consult an Internal Medicine Specialist or a Dermatologist.

I hope this answers your query.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Thanks for your valuable response doctor.... I was worried if these are the symptoms of some serious internal problem.... Though I was sure that it can't be a serious as I have a very healthy life style... I don't smoke, I drink occasionally (once every month when I am on tour)..........
Thanks again........
Can you give any reference of any doctor in XXXXXXX to whom I can visit......
