Question: I have strep throat and need antibiotics
Answered by Dr. Robert Galamaga 50 minutes later
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for the query.

If you have a confirmed case of strep throat then you would benefit from a course of antibiotics.

Typically a course of antibiotic for strep would include a penicillin based antibiotic unless you have an allergy to penicillin.

We are not able to provide prescriptions via this platform.

In order to obtain a prescription you would need to see a local medical provider or contact a telemedicine service which might offer prescription options.

Thank you again for sending the query.
