Question: I was getting into my car and the bottom of the door started to close and went over my toes That was about two hours ago and I have no swelling or discoloration but my toes feel a little sore. I can walk with no problem. Do you think I hurt my toes? The same thing happened before.

Brief Answer:
no swelling means probably no serious damage

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

crush injuries like this usually cause a lot of swelling. No swelling two hours after the incident probably means that the injury was not very serious. Painless walking is another sign of a light injury. A fractured toe would have been swollen and painful.

Kind Regards!
