Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Mr XXXXXXX

Being a parent myself, I understand your concern and apprehensions.

If the child is able to produce sound and responds to sound then there semms to be no cause for concern.
I hope his other developmental milestones are normal.

I would like to have additional information about the baby before we proceed further
1. Is the baby able to produce sound
2. Does the child respond to sound
3. What all sounds/words does the baby produce?
4. Is the baby able to protrude the tongue outside the mouth
5. Any other significant medical history

Kindly get back to me.

Take Care

Brief Answer:
There is no cause for concern

Detailed Answer:

Dear Mr XXXXXXX

As the child is able to speak words with meaning , there is no cause for concern. He will soon start using 2 to 3 words together initially without meaning and then later with meaning.
As his other development milestones are normal there is no cause for concern.
Every child is unique and they start speaking at various age .
I would suggest you a routine consultation with Child development clinic which will be located in medical college nearest to you. A routine assessment to assess the child is normal will be very reassuring.

Have patience , the child will slowly pick up language skills soon. Also Tongue tie needs to be ruled out during assessment.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care

Best Regards
Dr Deepak
