Suggest Treatment For Severe Throat Pain

Question: Something happened to me that I have the flap muscles in the front of my throat and they hurt a lot. I have enclosed the picture. The flaps are at the bottom of the throat. Can you tell me what can do this?

1. The prominent neck muscles seen in the image are the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscles that are responsible for neck movements.

2. Take an OTC anti-inflammatory medication, heat fomentation and rest,

3, If this soreness does not decrease in a couple of days, a USG (Ultrasound) of the neck will settle the diagnosis.

4. There is no cause for cause for worry.
