Question: Hello.
Both my eyes have been twitching consistently for 2 days now. Though the twitching does not cause my eyes to close but am feeling the twitch around my nose.

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Twitching of eyes is a very common symptom and is faced by almost everybody in his lifetime. Generally these are nonspecific twitchings which generally occurs in people who are stressed and fatigued or having lack of sleep or sometimes by excessive use of alcohol,tobacco or caffeine also.
People using excessive computers may also get it.
Normally such twitches go off in few days with proper rest,sleep,eating fresh fruits and vegetables and avoiding alcohol,tobacco and caffeine.
However if these twitches extend beyond 7-10 days,then you would need to get your eyes examined as sometimes some eye conditions may also cause it.
Very rarely they can be because of some brain disorder also but in that case these twitches they may extend beyond many weeks or months even.
Just relax as I am quite sure that you would be all right in next couple of days.
