Brief Answer:
symptomatic treatment

Detailed Answer:
hi and welcome. First, it takes some time till it heals on its own.this process can't be facilitated, but you can do few things to relieve pain. you can apply some ice or wash mouth with cold water, spoon of honey may be beneficial as well. avoid spicy food. eat easier food, lot of fluids, avoid chips, chocolate and fried food. try to rest with your tongue, avoid long speaking and shouting for few days. Wish you good health. Regards
