Suggest Treatment For Lump On The Penile Shaft

default
Posted on Tue, 21 Jul 2015
Question: I was wondering if you could help me. I have this 1CM by 1CM Lump on my penile shaft close to the lower part of the shaft. I wanted to know if it could be anything of concern? I've searched before for research but I'd prefer a professional opinion.

I'm nineteen. Had no sexual activity apart from masturbation.

Can you help me. I thought it was best to ask a professional but its a fairly embarrassing subject.

Brief Answer:
probably HPV papilloma of the penile shaft

Detailed Answer:
Hi,Dear dont worry and embarrass yourself.
a-For your age ,though you don't have any sex contact, its a Viral papilloma commonly seen at this age.
b-and After going through your query data- in depth, In my opinion its a Viral tumour caused mostly by a HPV virus.
c-Such lesions are very common occurrence due to poor Genito-Anal hygienic practices.
d-But before fixing it to be HPV papilloma lump,I would advise FNAC and/or Excision Biopsy of the penile lump, which would be needed for its diagnosis and which would treat it simultaneously.
e-Type of the Surgical /medical Treatment- The decision for medical treatment or extent of surgical excision advise would depend after knowing the exact location of your penile lump and HPR (Histopathological Examiantion) after FNAC Biopsy of the lesion and your more informative reply.

*I need more info on its feel, and appearance like cauliflower / location -?whether- in coronal sulcus of the penis or beneath the penile sulcus?

Welcome with more data for further advise.
Wishing you Good Health.
