Question: Hi,

I have nail ingrowth in both my toes which results in pain when anything presses against my toe. This prevents me from wearing ballet shoes and other closed shoes constricting my toe. Please suggest a solution for this problem.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
cut nail straight and attach pic

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

I have read your query and understood your concern.
For ingrown toe nail, the first and foremost advice is to prefer open footwear. If not possible, the front end of the shoe should be broad.
Always cut your nail straight and not curve it. First let it grow out and then cut it horizontally.

If it is just beginning, these precautions will help. But in case, it is severe and symptomatic, partial or total nail avulsion is done to treat the condition.

You may attach the pic of toe so that I can see it actually and would be able to help you to my best.

If you have any further query you may ask me.
Stay healthy.
