Question: Hi so i recently dilocated my finger and in the er they pulled it into place amd now they said its still broken i wanted to know if using a picture of my xray you can tell me if i need a cast or not

yes, there is a fracture of proximal phalanx head but it is nondisplaced and noncomplicated so it will heal with no consequances. In such cases it is recommended to have finger immobilisated for 15.20 days and then repeat Xrays. It can be immobilized with finger special splints or with forearm casts if these are not available.
