Suggest Treatment For External Hemorrhoids

default
Posted on Mon, 10 Aug 2015
Question: Hello,

I suspect I just received my first hemorroids. It just appeared two days ago, and I am worried sick if it will pop and will be very painful. Before I go to a hospital (there is usually a four hour wait here even with an appointment) I was hoping someone could tell me if this is what I think, whether this is the external hemorroids or protruding internal hemorroids, whether or not it goes away, and how long would it take for it to go away. This is the first time I took a photo of my anus, and I see there are some weird scratches opposite side from what seems to be hemorroids. Is it also hemorroids? I beieve that this is because I usually sit in a bathroom for an hour with a laptop on, and this could be the cause. Or maybe that I am also spending an hour or so in a bathtub.

Brief Answer:
External hemorrhoids!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this lump that you have reported. I have reviewed the image fully and it is typical of an external hemorrhoids. If you are not in sever pains, there is no need going to the hospital as this generally resolves all by itself without need fro medical intervention. What matters most is to avoid all those toiling habits that actually promote and aggravate hemorrhoids. Also, increase you fiber, fruits, vegetable and water intake as well as exercising often. All these will help keep the stools soft and avoid onset of hemorrhoids.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
