Suggest Treatment For Balance Issues While Having CMT

Question: I am an 88 year old man in excellent health. I excersize every day on my stationery bike or do light weight
Workouts instead. I have an inherited ailment known as CMT that worsened over the years and affects my balance considerably. Any suggestions would be appreciated! XXXXXXX XXXX

I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I would like to know that whether CMT is a provisional diagnosis in your case or is it confirmed?
If at all it is CMT only,then there is nothing much to offer for treatment.You'll just have to do exercises targeting the affected muscles,as advised by your physiotherapist,on a regular basis.Simultaneously,multivitamins,calcium and antioxidants supplementation may be added.
