Question: I have a 6 year old son...what is the frequency in which I need to give him de worming medicine
Also what can I give him.

Should I start Vitamin D boosters for him at this age?

Brief Answer:
Can be done as per degree of suspicion

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking once again on HealthcareMagic.

Usually deworming in children is not something necessary but to be done as per the degree of suspicion. If worms are suspected, you can deworm outright. Else, once in a year or in two years should be enough, if there is some degree of suspicion.

Vitamin D boosters need not be given unless the blood levels of Vitamin D are low. However, regular vitamin D supplementation in form of drops (like Calshine P drops or Arbivit-3 Drops) can be given on regular basis.

Hope that helps.
