Suggest Remedies For Swelling Around The Nose Post A Dental Work

Question: I have had an abcessed tooth which was removed a week and half ago . I am on antibiotic and still have swelling around my nose and I am worried. Went to ERnsnd they changed the antibiotic . Said I possibly have a resistant bacteri. Ext. site has healed. It's much better and looks like it is going away but is this normal or should I be worried that something else is going on..

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain swelling around nose after extraction of bicuspid can be due to both infection as well as inflammation of soft tissues caused during trauma to the soft tissues caused during extraction..

If the extraction site is healing fine and also the swelling is improving, you need not to worry as it indicates that Infection and inflammation is resolving..

You should continue taking antibiotics and also do cool compresses over the swelling..

It will help in gradually completely resolving the swelling...
