Suggest Remedies For Muscle Stiffness Post Intake Of Lurasidone

Question: My wife has been taking 20mg of Latuda for the last 3 months,daily, she has had some stiffness for about 2 WEEKS AND THEN THIS PAST FRIDAY SHE HAD A BAD REACTION TO THE MEDICINE,HER DR. IS UNAVAILABLE UNTIL TOMORROW THE 5TH,SHE STOPPED TAKING THE LATUDA SATURDAY,BUT IS STILL VERY STIFF AND TIGHT ,SO MY QUESTION IS CAN SHE TAKE SOMETHING TO HELP HER RELAX,FROM ACCROSS THE COUNTER?sHE ALSO TAKES 30MG OF TAMAZAPAN FOR SLEEP.

Lurasidone is an antipsychotic drug. One of its side effects include muscle stiffness so it doesn't relieve muscle stiffness according to its pharmacological response.

Temazepam is a benzodiazepam drug and can be used both as anxiolytic , sleeping pill and muscle relaxant. OTC availability varies but if the stiffness is marked despite temazepam use then tizaanidine or cyclobenzaperine can be advised as alternate muscle relaxants.
