default
Posted on Fri, 1 Jul 2016
Question: I fell approximately 6 weeks ago and believe I broke 1 or more ribs. They are fine now but shortly after I had a very cleansing bowel movement after eating sushi. Since then I have had aching lower abdominal feelings on my sides and my stools are clipped similar to a deters or elks. I also have increased water consumption.

Brief Answer:
Try increasing your fiber intake.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. It is good to hear that you have increased your intake of water. However, you also need to increase your fiber intake and also need to back it up with proper exercise. You can find a list of fiber rich foods from:

Try these and I think that your problem would be resolved. Feel free to revert back in case you have further problems.
