Brief Answer:
Relief may take up to a week.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.

If you're taking urine culture specific antibiotic,it should give relief in three days.
If not started after doing culture,it may take about a week.
If dosage of the antibiotic is inadequate,it'll delay relief from symptoms.

You haven't mentioned details of the symptoms you had.
The time delay between onset of UTI and starting antibiotic, is also a cause for delay.

Drink about twelve glasses of fluids daily.
Wish you well.

Brief Answer:
Flavoxate gives good relief, in people having your symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

You're taking the medicine for two days now, with no relief. It's not time to act fully.
Give it another two days and you should get relief.

You can start Flavoxate, thrice daily to get good relief.
Get it prescribed by your doctor or a licensed pharmacist.

MS is not diagnosed by oneself, without a doctor's diagnosis.
Why're you thinking about problems, you may never have.

Wish you well.
